Refund and Cancellation Policy

1. Introduction

This is the Refund and Cancellation Policy for Platypus Legal. It was last updated on June 16, 2026. It applies to paid subscriptions and services offered by FIWDIL LLC for Platypus. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance. Billing occurs on a monthly or annual basis, unless another billing term is stated.

2. Subscription Cancellations

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time by using the billing portal at checkout, the payment provider's customer portal, or by emailing help@platypus.gg. Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current billing period. A different rule may apply if required by law. Fees are generally non-refundable after payment, and no partial or prorated refunds are given for unused time, except where law requires otherwise. If the Company materially fails to provide the paid Service and does not fix the issue within a reasonable time after written notice, a full or partial refund may be given at the Company's discretion.

3. Non-Refundable Items or Services

Annual plans are generally non-refundable after payment, unless a refund is required by law or is expressly stated in the checkout flow. Renewal charges are also non-refundable unless law requires otherwise. Upgrades may take effect immediately, and prorated billing adjustments may apply. Downgrades usually take effect at the next renewal date.

4. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

  1. Before initiating a chargeback, contact help@platypus.gg so we can attempt to resolve the issue.
  2. Accounts with unresolved payment disputes may be suspended.

5. Taxes and Fees

You are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, and governmental charges related to purchases, except taxes based on our net income.

6. Consumer Protection Rights

Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable rights under applicable consumer protection laws. If local law grants additional refund or withdrawal rights, those rights apply.

7. Policy Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes apply prospectively and will be communicated through reasonable notice.
